MJ wins Gold in Newaygo

Greyline Nines represent on Top Men’s Court

Wondering why it’s so difficult to beat the Year 2 champs?

It’s because they all play on the sport court of the Top Men’s division in their annual summer tour of Gus Macker tournaments.

When you see MJ, Double Barrett (bottom pic) or Los playing at that level, it gives you goosebumps. Some of us may even think of ourselves as “sport court material” if we are able to hang with these top tier players in the Gr3g League.

This past weekend in the parking lot of Newaygo Middle School, they faced off against each other to take home the Gold Trophy.

In the end, MJ wears the crown this week.

The mayor

Happy Mother’s Day!

Thank You.

Raise a glass to CHEERS the most important person in the world, Mom.

She doesn’t care that you miss shots, can’t play defense and continually make a fool of yourself and your family name out there on the ball court.

All she cares about is that you’re having fun and doing your best.

Make sure to give her a call, send her a card and remind her that your jump shot is broke. Take her advice about that “new thing” and tell her the email chain is “hilarious”. She’ll be most appreciative.

To the Mayor of Golf Village, thanks for everything! You’re the BEST!
