The Grand Rapids Drive ended their five-game losing streak in a 122-117 win over the Long Island Nets on Saturday night to complete Day Four of the 2017 NBA Development League Showcase.
The Drive’s Jordan Crawford led all scorers with 31 points to go along with five assists in 38 minutes. Nikola Jovanovic came off the bench to score 23 points and grab nine rebounds with two blocks in 28 minutes. Ray McCallum netted 22 points and dished out nine assists with five boards in 34 minutes for Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids was coming off a 135-122 shootout loss to the Showcase-host Raptors 905 on Wednesday at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
All five Nets starters scored in double figures, led by former Indiana University standout Yogi Ferrell’s 27 points and nine assists. Carrick Felix scored 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting with seven rebounds and Lazar Hayward added 21 points, eight rebounds and two blocks for Long Island.
Grand Rapids (12-15) will visit the Westchester Knicks on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. ET, which can be seen on Facebook Live.
