Golden Eagles add Meriweather, Dekkenga and Rodriguez to Class of ’21

Coming off their NAIA D-2 runner-up finish, the Cornerstone Golden Eagles are stacking the deck when it comes to adding local talent for their newest freshmen class.

Coopersville guard Nick Dekkenga, Godwin Heights guard Christian Rodriguez and Bellaire’s Gabe Meriweather have all verbally committed to play for legendary coach Kim Elders next season. Meriweather put his name to paper earlier today.

The trio joins a packed lineup on campus, including NAIA D-2 First Team All-American Kyle Steigenga.
