Jordan Crawford to sign 2-year deal with New Orleans Pelicans

Jordan Crawford, the former Grand Rapids Drive and current New Orleans Pelicans guard, has agreed to a two-year deal with New Orleans, bypassing a second 10-day,¬†league sources told The Vertical’s Shams Charania.

Crawford has averaged 14.2 points per game, 1.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 50.9% from the field and an even better 51.9% from behind the 3-point arc over his first 5 games.

In his first game with the Pelicans, Crawford scored 19 points and was the star on the court for the team that had also recently acquired All-Star DeMarcus Cousins. Crawford scored 14 of those points in the fourth quarter and almost helped New Orleans complete an 18-point comeback in a 88-85 loss to the Utah Jazz.

Crawford was expected to sign a second 10-day before the news dropped earlier today.
