The 6-foot-8 center brings length and athleticism to the roster and should dominate as a defensive presence in the paint.

Davis played at Mt. Vernon High School in Indianapolis, IN. He was twice an All-County and All-Conference award winner and was also named to the Top 60 Watch List in state of Indiana while leading his team to the Sectional Finals during his senior year in 2009-10.

Upon arriving at Davenport, Davis played in 35 games as a freshman, averaging 2.9 points and 3.8 rebounds. He would follow that up with a sophomore campaign of 4.3 points and 4.7 rebounds over 23 games. His .558 FG% was best on the team in 2011-12. As a junior, he again led the team in FG% at .605(third-highest in school history) while recording career-bests of 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. He was named to the All-WHAC Team as an Honorable Mention.

Davis continued his impressive play during his senior season, leading the team in FG% for a third straight year(.556) while averaging 6.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. He left he school as the all-time leader in blocks with 110.
