2015-16 D-League schedule released

Drive to open at home Nov. 14th vs. Delaware

After wowing the crowds in Grand Rapids throughout their inaugural season last year, the Grand Rapids Drive return to the hard court later this fall in hopes of winning a D-League title for their parent club, the NBA’s Detroit Pistons.

The Drive will again play 24 home games at the DeltaPlex in Walker, MI.  While full and half-season tickets are on sale now at nbagrandrapids.com, single game tickets go on sale October 10th at 10am.

There will be eight $1 beer night Wednesdays. The Drive announced five different theme night promotions: BOGO ticket Mondays(2), $1 beer Wednesdays(8), Pistons Tribute Nights on Fridays(2), Family 4-Pack Saturdays(8) and Souvenir Sundays(3).

Grand Rapids will play the new Eastern Conference Raptors 905 team three times, traveling twice to Alabama and hosting on March 30th. But, the schedule doesn’t allow the Drive to face off against the defending D-League Champion Santa Cruz Warriors. The Drive will play only 4 games against Western Conference teams, hosting the Austin Spurs and Rio Grande Valley Vipers(Rockets) and visiting Austin and Idaho Stampede(Jazz). The possibility does exist for some mid-season inter-conference games at the D-League Showcase Jan. 6-10. Each of the 19 teams will play 2 regular season games during their time in Santa Cruz, CA.

Don’t miss Buckets at every home game, get your season tickets by calling 1-844-GR-DRIVE!
