Carter Nyp, a 6-foot-9 power/stretch forward form Wayland Union HS, has received an offer from Aquinas College to continue his basketball career next season. Aquinas is the third Michigan school with an offer for Nyp’s services on the basketball court.
He received a scholarship offer from Spring Arbor University in late July. Cornerstone and legendary coach Kim Elders arrived in early August with news that the Golden Eagles also had an offer for the Wildcats’ big man.
Nyp is a top prospect in the local class of 2018 who played this summer with the West Michigan Lakers on the AAU circuit.
