COREAU AGREES TO TERMS

Jared Coreau and the Detroit Red Wings have come to terms on a one-year deal. The Griffins goaltender, who at 23 had a great season in Grand Rapids, posted a 16-8-1 record while sporting a 2.20 GAA and a .927 Save% last season.

The 6-5, 230-pound 23-year old is known for his fiery streaks of hot goaltending, highlighted by his 6 straight wins to start his sophomore campaign. Before turning pro, Coreau spent three seasons with the Wildcats at Northern Michigan University.
