The Grand Rapids Drive, the NBA affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, has agreed to trade the returning player rights to Henry Sims to the Salt Lake City Stars in exchange for Salt Lake City’s own 2016 first round draft pick, number 5 overall.

Sims appeared in 40 games for the Drive, averaging 15.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 30 minutes.

He earned two 10-day contracts with the Brooklyn Nets, appearing in 14 games averaging 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

The NBA D-League Draft will be held on October 30, 2016 at 2 p.m.
