Landry Nnoko signs deal with Detroit Pistons

Landry Nnoko, a 6-foot-10 forward from Clemson University, has signed a partially guaranteed contract with the Detroit Pistons after spending time with the team at the Orlando Summer League.

According to Alex Kennedy and HoopsHype.com, the defensive-minded forward/center, agreed to a minimum-scale contract with the Motor City’s NBA team and will spend training camp and the preseason with the club.

After the recent signing of Kentucky’s Derek Willis, the Pistons now have 16 players on the roster for training camp and will most likely see the duo play the majority of the season for the team G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.

Undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Nnoko played last season with Consultinvest VL Pesaro of the Italian Lega A, averaging 6.4 points per game. During his final season at Clemson he averaged 8.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks while playing 22+ minutes per game.
