New York, NY — The NBA Developmental League today announced its’ 2015-16 All-Defensive Team that includes Sioux Falls Skyforce forward DeAndre Liggins, the 2015-16 NBA D-League Defensive Player of the Year.

Liggins came up big in the NBADL title clincher this week for the Skyforce.

 

He is joined on the team by last year’s DPOY award winner, Aaron Craft of the Santa Cruz Warriors. Both the Skyforce and Warriors won a NBA D-League Championship in their players’ winning year.

Craft recorded 7 blocks vs. Rio Grande Valley in January 2016.

Micheal Eric, a 6’10” forward from Nigeria out of Temple U, averaged 11.8 points and 9.4 rebounds and 2 blocks per game for the Texas Legends.

Jordan Bachynski of the Westchester Knicks averaged 13.1 points, 7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game this season.

Keith Appling of the Erie BayHawks rounds out the team of lockdown defenders. Appling, the gritty former Michigan State Spartan guard, received a GATORADE Call-Up from the Orlando Magic during the season. Appling did some serious work against the Drive this season.
